FIFA opened eleven counters across the country for the last phase of sales. All the soccer fans lined up outside a shopping mall in Soweto—near where the opening game and the 2010 Football World Cup final will be held at Soccer City.

FIFA ticket center manager, Richard Lalla told that the final tickets will be for “a few minutes”. But, it was sufficient time for Malin Fisher. He is a 32-year-old trainee church minister; he has spent 10,000 rands (,370) on six tickets, including two for football’s biggest game.

Malin Fisher was the first person, who received tickets at newly opened ticket center after queuing overnight and said, “an incredible feeling” to have 2010 Football World Cup finaltickets.

You guys know that the FIFA World Cup tournament is coming next year, and South Africa has taken the responsibility of hosting the World Cup this time. Now South Africa is now ready to host the greatest football show on the planet, the FIFA 2010 World Cup.

The preparation are going on and in most instances the physical construction of the stadiums is virtually complete, with almost all seats installed and newly-laid pitches a welcome sight at Nelson Mandela Bay/Port Elizabeth's Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium, Durban's Moses Mabhida Stadium, Nelspruit's Mbombela Stadium, Polokwane's Peter Mokaba Stadium and Johannesburg's Soccer City stadium.

For the first time the tour also included a consultant from the South African Disabled Alliance to oversee the provisions that have been made for access for all spectators with disabilities. Of the 650,527 tickets sold to date for the 2010 FIFA World Cup, 7,863 wheelchair tickets have been purchased.
